Auseklis Baušķenieks (1910–2007) was an artist, painter, teacher, radio engineer, and amateur physicist. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Latvia and at the Art Academy of Latvia. He also led a drawing and sculpture class at the Palace of Young Pioneers in Riga.
