"I am particularly drawn to visualizing and solidifying scattered, restless thoughts into concrete images. These often relate to excess—negation, exaggeration, and overabundance. Through a process of deconstruction and refinement, I strive to obtain an image or construct a narrative from these abstract impressions."
Jaeyoung Kang graduated from the Korea National University of Arts in 2014 and completed her Diplom at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, Germany, in 2021. Since returning to Seoul, he has continued his practice while actively participating in exhibitions both in Korea and abroad.
