Gee Song South Korean, b. 1980

Song's landscapes are not simply depictions of nature but representations of the modern, commodified world. 

Gee Song gaduated from the Department of Painting and Printmaking at Ewha Womans University, College of Fine Arts, and completed her MFA at Goldsmiths, University of London. 

Her recent solo exhibitions include 《Known Unknown》(Gallery Bonart, Hanam, Korea, 2024), 《Sky, Sea, Land》(Youngeun Museum, Gwangju, Korea, 2019). Additionally, she participated in many group exhibitions such as 《Earth, Consuming Myth》(SEOJUNGART, Seoul, Korea, 2025), 《Infinite Play》(Museseum Gallery, Ulsan, Korea, 2023), 《Making Colors》(Yeoju World Ceramic Livingware Gallery, Yeoju, Korea, 2020), 《-2020+》(Kwanhoon Gallery, Seoul, Korea, 2020). She has been selected for the 2010 Open Call for Young Artists hosted by the Alternative Space LOOP in Seoul, recognized as an emerging artist by the Korean Cultural Centre UK in 2008.
